CARLY TRAGHAM

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Carly is a passionate and enthusiastic physiotherapist with experience across musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, sports and neurological rehabilitation. She enjoys supporting people through every stage of their recovery, from injury and post-operative rehabilitation to managing longer-term conditions and improving strength, mobility, balance and confidence.

Carly completed a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science at Abertay University, followed by an MSc in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University. She currently works in the private sector and has gained broad clinical experience across both private and NHS settings, including ACL rehabilitation, sports injuries, orthopaedics, acute stroke and stroke rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, elderly rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, trauma and complex injuries. Her experience within NHS secure mental health settings has also developed her ability to work with individuals with complex needs and tailor rehabilitation to each person.

Alongside her physiotherapy experience, Carly is qualified in Mat Pilates, acupuncture and dry needling, and sports massage. She takes an exercise-focused approach to rehabilitation, combining these skills where appropriate to provide an individualised treatment programme based around each person's goals.

Carly also has experience working within rugby and sporting environments, supporting athletes with injury management, rehabilitation and return to sport. Having competed in athletics and Highland dancing internationally, she has a personal understanding of the physical demands of training, competition and recovery.

Carly takes an evidence-based and person-centred approach to physiotherapy, working collaboratively with each individual to build confidence, restore function and help them return to the activities that matter most to them.
